Well, I feel like I can cross off a few items from my ‘To Do’ list. If you’re reading this then you know I’ve launched my website and blog. Probably the most difficult thing for me was developing my logo. I hired a graphic designer to come up with some choices but unfortunately none of them felt right. So I guess that pushed me to come up with it myself. After many versions I think it finally feels like, ‘me’! Last week, the day before my birthday, I received my new business stationary. I think I may have a bit of a crazy thing for fine paper. I think the most important thing for my wedding may have been our hand engraved invitations from a small shop in London. Was that necessary; probably not, but to this day I still get sentimental when I see our copperplate engraving on a side table in our living room. Well my business stationary is not hand engraved and I probably drove the shop who printed it a little nuts (a lot nuts!), move it to the left 5cm, oh, too much, are you sure that is Pantone Color 1785…but its done. I have no excuses now about catching up on some overdue thank you now! I’ve added a picture of the copperplate from our invitations as well as a link to Gee Brothers, the shop that made it. I guess its been our favorite coaster!
